According to the New York Post, Lindsay Lohan’s credit cards were reportedly turned-down on a shopping trip, proving once and for all that credit card companies don’t discriminate!
The ‘Mean Girls’ actress is said to have attempted to make a purchase worth $300 at the Rag & Bone shop on Mercer Street in Soho, New York over the weekend, but was shocked and embarrassed when the store declined her credit cards.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: “Lindsay was trying to buy something for around $300 but her credit cards were declined. She looked really embarrassed and tried to negotiate before her friend finally stepped in and paid.”
This just goes to show that regardless of how much money you made, make or will make, if you don’t pay your bills, the tap will be turned-off eventually. It’s also a little sad that a woman who not only earns a lot of money, but has a management team and personal support staff can’t budget and pay a monthly bill on time.
